Our Story
Longs Peak Tree Service is named for the 14,259-foot summit that dominates the view from Longmont’s western horizon Colorado’s most iconic Front Range peak and the mountain that defines this corner of Boulder County for the people who live here. We chose the name because it’s where we’re from. This is home, and the trees we care for are our neighbors’ trees.
We started Longs Peak Tree Service because Longmont and Boulder County deserved a tree service company that combined genuine ISA certification and Colorado state licensing with the personal accountability of a locally owned business. National franchises bring standardized pricing built around national overhead costs. Large regional operations bring volume but not always the attention to individual properties and individual trees that good arboriculture requires. We built Longs Peak to take both the craft and the customer seriously.

ISA certification is the recognized professional standard for tree care expertise. It requires passing a comprehensive exam covering tree biology, proper pruning per ANSI A300, hazard assessment, and safe work practices, plus ongoing continuing education to maintain.
